About
Pocket Verdict started as a group chat where a few of us kept sending each other screenshots of games we couldn't stop playing. At some point the messages got too long, so we turned them into a proper site. Nothing corporate about it — we're readers first and writers second.
We cover mobile games across every genre we can stomach: RPGs, strategy, racing, silly arcade time-killers and the sprawling adventure titles that eat your evening. A game gets on the site only after someone here has played it enough to have a real opinion, usually across a few days and at least two different phones.,We care a lot about the boring stuff other reviews skip. Does the game drain your battery in forty minutes? Are the touch controls fighting you? Can you actually play it one-handed on the train? Those questions decide whether a title is fun to live with, not just fun in a screenshot.,We're not sponsored by anyone and we don't take money to say nice things. When we like something we say so, and when a promising game trips over its own interface, we say that too. If that sounds dull, you're probably in the right place.
